Choice Magazine Listening is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing, at no cost, the best in current magazine writing to people with print disabilities. We collect personal information about our listeners only to enable us to deliver our quarterly magazine anthology and to meet our legal obligations under copyright law. The following is intended to inform you about how we use the information we collect.
What Information Do We Collect?
When you subscribe to Choice Magazine Listening or fill out other forms on our website, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, and/or phone number. You may also be asked questions meant to help you get started, such as whether you have the special free player needed to listen to CML.
What Do We Use Your Information For?
Information we collect from you may be used in the following ways:
● To process your free subscription to Choice Magazine Listening. Your information, whether public or private, will never be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of processing your free subscription to CML.
● To send periodic emails. The email address you provide to us may be used to send you information pertaining to your free subscription, as well as occasional updates to help you access and enjoy CML.

How Do We Protect Your Information?
We implement security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or change such information.
If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. As with most websites, if you turn off your cookies, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can always contact us by telephone.
Do We Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website and free service are directed at adults 18 years of age or older.
